Kartheos, Kostas, pen name of Kleandros Lakonas (1878 – 1955), former staff officer of the Greek Army and later director of the National Theatre of Greece. He published three volumes of poetry and numerous translations of German and English authors, mainly works of Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, Kleist, Hauptmann.
